CAPAL (Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership)’s 2013 interns launched a community action project to raise the visibility of Asian Pacific American leaders. InspiringAPA showcases a variety of Asian Pacific American professionals’ career paths and their bicultural perspectives. The website aims to counter widespread misrepresentation and underexposure of Asian Pacific Americans. Several APAEA members are among those leaders profiled. Forest Service CAPAL interns (and interns at other organizations) designed their capstone project to grow in the future and inspire other Asian Pacific American leaders.
